TikTok: CEO of the TikTok Explains we are not Spying on Americans Before Parliamentary Committee
TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew has denied recent allegations that he is spying on Americans and giving our information to the Chinese Government. TikTok has dominated the US for the past few years. In this case, TikTok company has been accused of spying on the American people and providing secret information about the American country to the Chinese government. Subsequently, US government employees were banned from using TikTok.
In this situation, members of the Democratic and Republican parties of the United States Congress were insisting that Tik Tok should be banned across the United States. In this, its CEO Shou Zi Chew appeared before a parliamentary committee to explain the allegations against Tik Tok. There Shou Zi Chew said, “We are sure that our company is not working for China or other countries. Our site has over 150 million US visitors. We know very well that they have a duty and responsibility to protect them,” he said.
And also, MP from California. Someone questioned whether Tik Tok is a Chinese company to which he replied, “Tik Tok is a global company with headquarters in Singapore and Los Angeles. The idea that Tik Tok is spying is completely fictitious,” he replied. Tik Tok CEO Shou Zi Chew has been responding to a US Congressional committee for about five hours.
